Help requested: Alligator, lobster cake falling apart. Fondant, tried to hold it together with chopsticks (seen emerging from gator's chin), wires, skewers. (Theme was supposed to combine Florida and Maine attractions). I made the cholesterol-free cake mix recipe which was too light. I would like to try this cake again. Is there a way to make a cake this tall and leaning? Do I need a pound cake recipe?
