got the idea from a pic i saw here on the site -- the one that i was looking at used a fondant covered board for the baseball diamond and i think a whole ball cake =- i only used half of the sports ball pan and set it on a 12" two layer cake for the diamond. used WASC cake, white as snow buttercream, and fondant for bases
