This was my first attempt at topsy turvy. It was actually a lot easier than I thought it would be. I actually didn't sleep the whole night before because I kept thinking of all the things that could go wrong. I ended up trimming and shaping the cakes then freezing them overnight and filled, stacked and frosted the frozen cakes, which seemed to make it easier to cover. I was happy at the outcome.
