I'm not sure why this cake pleases me, but it does. I'm very happy with the results having used the Wilton Cross cake pan. I made two, this one is for the boys who happen to be the cousins of the twin girls I babysit. I have known them since they were babies as well so it was a thrill for me to be able to make their celebration cake. The girls cake is in the second picture. They are all celebrating at the same luncheon, so I made them to work as companion cakes. The boy cake is inspired by Krisa's cake posted here on CC. TFL!
