Well, I waited forever to find a reason to make this cake...I love it since I saw Wendy's version of it, I was in love with it. With so many other decorators taking on this design, the pool of great ideas and great cakes was growing and growing and...you get the picture :) Mice are gumpaste/fondant mix, so is the bird. Floor boards are fondant. I decided to make the floor ahead of time, give the fondant time to dry properly and now it was impossible to get rid of all conf. sugar I messed it up with when positioning the mice....Oh, well.....Apart from the floor issues, I love it! Any suggestions on how to get rid of the **** sugar are welcome. Thanks!
