I was inspired by crlovescakes cookie monster cake, so I decided to try it for myself. It didn't come out as nice as hers, but I learned a few things that I'll change in the future. I would use a smaller cake at the bottom, I used (2) 9" round cakes, then (2) 8" round cakes and (1) 6" cake. I probably should have done (1) 8" cake first, then a 9" cake to give his body more rounded look. I also should have made his legs a little fatter. The "base" is PVC. Cookie's head, arms and legs are all RKT. I had fun making him and my daughter loved it.
