This cake was made for a friend whose birthday is on St. Patrick's day. The bottom half of the pot is styrofoam and the cake was white with green buttercream between the layers. I covered the whole thing with black fondant (I'll never try to cover another sphere with fondant!!) and then candies and flowers and ribbons were put on top. What's funny is that my friend is diabetic :-) She told me she just took extra shots that day.
