This cake was for a friend's niece who was turning 5 and wanted a cake all for herself. It is chocolate cake with buttercream icing. It is made by using half of the 3D sports ball pan from wilton and a 6" round base torted to only be half as tall as normal. The head is made with a cupcake with the empty spaces filled in with icing. Her antennae are made from gumpaste and inserted in with toothpicks. Instead of spots, they wanted to do roses.
