A six inch chocolate oreo cake with oreo buttercream covered in mm fondant...the roots were cupcakes frosted against the base of the 6inch cake (5 layers) the fondant was dyed brown and then hand painted with dark brown/moss green and gold lustre dust. Texture was achieved by wrinkling fondant and molding into the frosting. Bugs are all handmade from gumpaste and handpainted :) grass is green buttercream using grass/hair tip, dirt is scrap cake and rocks are jellybean
