This was a farewell cake for a children's librarian. It's based on an actual book. One of my earlier cakes, I hadn't yet learned to get the BC smooth. (Thank goodness for the Melvira Method!) I used the basketweave tip on the sides to create the look of pages and fondant for the accents.
