Black And White
I love finding inspiration from everywhere. This pattern is from 'Large Book of Textile Designs' by Fanz Donat, Germany, 1895. These sugar cookies are 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" All lines and dots were piped with a PME piping tip no. 1.
Regina Sanctissimi Rosarii
Wedding cake in honor of Our Lady of the Rosary. The occasion was the Solemn Profession of two young Benedictine nuns. Image of The Blessed Virgin Mary hand modeled with fondant over rice treats. Book also in rice treats and pastillage. Scenes of the mysteries of the Rosary from an old French holy card. Edible lace and sugar pearls.
Finally got around to making Book. I had planned to last year but no time. Cake is red velvet with SMBC with cream cheese. Eye is isomalt and details are all fondant.
Teacher Birthday Cake
Birthday cake for my daughter's teacher. 7"X5.5" chocolate fudge cake with dark chocolate buttercream filling, covered and decorated with fondant. Fondant pencil and scissors. Apple is white chocolate with fondant leaf and stem.
Children's Classic Books Sweet Collaboration- Thumbelina
It is my pleasure to participate in the international collaboration of Cake Designers “Children’s classic books” for an important day, November 20 “The day of the protection of the rights of childhood” My choice is "Thumbelina" from the title book’s Story: Thumbelina/Hans Christian Anderson/1835 I love this story since i watched Hans Christian Anderson's movie on tv show when i was a little girl . The story tells about this little cute girl who emerged in a flower and how she survive from many creatures that try to marry her until she find her true love and get her own wings. It’s remind me my childhood’s book so so happy to be participate in this collaboration
