This cake was awesome to make. I never made buildings before or taxis!!!! I will have to share a little story with you though. I have two kids who adore so much but they can be sometimes, lets say it... stinkers! I made my 3 taxi cabs on tuesday night it took me a long time, details and all. On thrusday I was making dessert and Leah (my baby) was si quiet, my husband went to look for her and she was ALL covered of candy, she was eating the taxis I made two nights before!!!!!! At first I was panicking but then I made then again, they didn't take that long and they look cuter!!!! so thanks to my little girl I am DOUBLE happy with my taxis! The street signs are: Vanessa St with Leavitt Ave. :) the buildings are made out of rice crispy treats (my husband made it) covered with MM fondant. Cake is vanilla, the butter cream and MM fondant is strawberry flavor made by me. I had so much fun making this cake.
