This was a last minute request from a friend. She wanted a small cake for her daughter's birthday on her birthday. Party is not till next month. She asked me if I could make an elmo cake. Initially I had planned on making elmo and cookie monster figurines, but the models didn't dry and lost the shape. Elmo is fondant cut and put together with black icing. The rest of numbers, letters are fondant. Pistachio cardamom cake with cream cheese frosting baked in 10" square cake pan and filled with mixture of chocolate cream cheese icing and coconut.
