For my friends twin boys birthday. 8 inch vanilla madeira with 2 layers of jam and buttercream and a half ball with a layer of buttercream inside. They love Bart and football so this is what I came up with inspired by cakes on here. The half ball was covered with fondant and then I cut out hexagons(?) and laid them on in a pattern painting the remaining pentagons with sugarflair liquorice gel colour. The grass is just rolled fondant and then stuck on all round the cake, There are goals on the side of the cake made with rolled fondant in a snake and then the net filled in with Ri. . TFL Hanx
