Being fortunate enough to have both my mother and my mother in-law turn 80, I got to make this cake twice! The 8 and the 0 were both made with the oval pan. The sheet cake gave us enough cake to add the greeting and feed everyone at the parties. All that was left was to add their favorite flowers.
