This is the third fondant cake I've made. I made it for a co-worker as a surprise for her birthday and she was definitely surprised. :-) It was the best tasting cake out of all that I had made so far. I used the Swans Down 1,2,3,4 cake recipe. My only problem with that cake is it's such a light and fluffy recipe, it's hard to get the straight sharp edges because the fondant weighs it down. I've since switched to a cream cheese pound cake as my standard cake mix.
