My first castle cake! I used the Wilton castle kit. I know I didn't use all of the turrets and windows, but it the cakes were 8" and 6" so I really didn't see that I had enough room to put them! Top tier is strawberry with chocolate buttercream filling. Bottom is dark chocolate with cookies n cream filling. I delivered it this morning and the whole family just LOVED it! From both kids I kept hearing how totally awesome it was! And mom was so happy! I did end up having one turret tip en route, but it was super easy to fix and couldn't tell the difference after I fixed it! Everything is covered in french vanilla buttercream and the flowers and banner are gumpaste. I am pretty pleased with how this one turned out and I can't wait to do a full on HUGE castle!!!! TFL!
