We live in Canada and my Mom is SO obsessed with anything Disney, she goes to DisneyLand or World 3 times a year. Weird, I know. Anyways, her favorite thing to do is find hidden Mickeys. I have only been doing cakes for about a year, and wasn't great in the beginning, so this is only the 2nd cake I've made her! I made her one for Mother's Day as well. Everyone else in the family has had several cakes from me so I wanted my Muyms to be special. Strawberries and Cream cake, that's her favorite! There are Mickey heads hidden throughout the pictures. I found seperate pictures of every character, resized each one and arranged them to go around the cake. I roughly traced them all one at a time onto rice paper (first time using it) and stuck it onto the fondant with vanilla. I then painted each one with powder and gel colors mixed with vanilla, and then painted the blue around them all. I did the same with Disneyland castle on top. The bow tutorial on here finally helped me make a decent bow, so thank you! TFL!
