This was the first wedding cake i have ever made. (Also the biggest). Though I have been decorating for years this cake was made in the bride and grooms kitchen. I had not decided to make it until the night before. It was made as their wedding gift. I thought it was good for short notice. very impromptu. It is white cake with strawberry filling. Tasted so good it beat the store bought cake someone else brought. I will be making many many more, and perfecting my butter cream recipe.
