We made this cake for the principal at my sister's school. This was our 1st attempt at a tiered cake. It did lean a bit, but overall we were happy with it. We were not going for a perfectly smooth surface, as we are not good at that yet. We need a better buttercream recipe than we are using, ours does not crust very well. We added the cupcakes because the head count went up by 20 people after the cake was done. The school colors are red, white and blue.
