This is the first "shaped" cake I ever made. My son wanted a ti-fighter cake for his birthday and I has recently been watching Ace of Cakes and thought, I can do that. Needless to say I learned the hard way that you can't use buttercream to decorate rice Krispie treats, thank goodness for toothpicks!
