I can't believe I drove this cake over 200 miles to Scotland and it arrived in one piece! This was for a Holy Communion, it was made of vanilla sponge with strawberry jam and vanilla buttercream. It's covered in white fondant, the flowers are also white fondant with edible silver balls in the centre. For the cross I added tylo powder to fondant, cut it out freehand leaving space to glue the flowers in then let it harden for a few days before adding it to the cake.
