Hello Kitty cake for our daughter's 16 birthday. base cake Vanilla with buttercream. Mt. Fuji is a carved chocolate cake with buttercream. The Hello Kitty and kimono are all fondant. The pagoda is fondant, bamboo and wax paper with a tea candle inside to illuminate it. The cherry blossom tree is fondant with a wire skeleton. The ring aorund the cake is fondant with flat bamboo sticks. I basically deconstructed a bamboo steamer and used the parts.
