Here our lovely bride wanted her cake to feature the "cornflower", or "bachelors button" as we refer to it in America. In her country, these blue beauties grow wild amongst the corn, and they reminded her of home, which she was sorely missing. Of course, they were out of season in NY, but thanks to our amazing local florist, they were shipped in fresh and gorgeous, and our bride was thrilled! White cake filled with fresh strawberries and whipped cream.
