I made this cake for my daughter's 4th birthday. I modeled it after the Sugar Plum Fairy featured in Debbie Brown's Enchanted Cakes book. Cake is covered in fondant and brushed with edible sparkles. Flowers and vines were made with royal icing. Figure is made with gumpaste and skirt (cake) was covered in layers of fondant ruffles.
