This was for my daughter's 1st birthday. I learned so much doing this cake. 1. Place one block on the board at a time. 2.Take your time. 3.There is nothing wrong with using fondant for the look. 4. Don't use a buttery butter cream on a HOT afternoon. Aside from all that I think it turned out ok.

But she loved her smash cake(not pictured) so that's what made it all worth it.
