the only problam i had was trying to make it look like a midnight blue. does anyone have any suggestions on how to accomplish that color

It turned out well anyway! I like the color. You might have your best luck with airbrushing, but it's hard to say. Otherwise maybe mix some royal or dark blue color with a touch of black??
