Your roses are perfect and the photo itself is awesome- truly a portfolio picture of one you would definately have to use in promo materials or your website. Very cool!
wow overwhelmed with your lovely comments and pm's! i will try to best describe this process. Firstly cover the cupcake with a thin layer of icing (crumb coat). Then using tip #10 create the middle of the rose with a (my daughter calls it a candle!!) in the middle of the cupcake about 2cms high. Then swap your tip for a rose tip i used tip #104! You do this just like you would do a rose on a nail (i have never done one on a nail but watched a video on it and think its the same!)
You pipe one petal that wraps around the "candle" then you do 3 petals then 5 petals then 7 petals! Then you take the cupcake and turn it around as you pipe long petals all the way around the outside to you have filled the cupcake! You can then add leaves if you so desire but i prefer not to! Hope that helps you all
