Bee Hive Cake
This was my first carved cake made for a colleague who was retiring. He is an apiologist (studies bees) so I thought this would be great for him. I followed the directions in Debbie Brown's book, including the cake which was lemon flavored. I made cupcakes with flowers and bees, too.
