I made this cake for my son's 1st Birthday, buttercream icing with fondant waterfall, chocolate rocks, mmf/satin ice fondant/gum paste animals. (My first stab at making animals... I had a little trouble with them sinking (too heavy) any ideas to avoid this?) Thanks to all those who's ideas inspired me!
Cake is totally cool! I find that when I make my animals with Satin Ice, it is too soft. I like to use the Wilton Fondant for my characters because it dries harder and faster and I recently started adding in a little bit of gumpaste. They never sink!
