This cake was for my niece's 1st birthday and we thought we'd try something bright and really colourful. Chocolate mud sponge blocks covered and decorated with sugarpaste.

Thanks everyone. Yes beachysweets, it took me the better part of 20 or so hours. The flowers on the board are made of sugar paste as well, it was a great way to use all the left over pieces in an effective way.
