The bugs appear only along the side of the back of the cake. It looks like a normal cake until you turn it around. The bugs are made of buttercream frosting with black coloring. My daughter wants bugs on her next birthday cake also. I think I will use M&Ms and cover them with frosting to make them crunchy. Did I mention that Buggy Bill is an exterminator.
