This is the first cake I made outside of cake class. It's is a birthday cake for my husband, who turned 43 on Saturday. He asked for a Fall Theme, so this is what he got. I used a leaf cookie cutter we had in the cupboard, and the leaf-making skills I learned in class. The cake is a boxed spice cake, and I made the "Decorator Cream Cheese Frosting" recipe from this site. It tasted pretty good.
