chocolate cake, ganache filling and whip cream icing topped with ganache.

the ganache is 4 oz bittersweet choc finely chopped, pour 1/2 C heavy cream (heated in pan until hot and steamy) over the choc until melted. Add 1/4 C lt corn syrup and 2 tsp vanilla. If it is too thick, add more corn syrup. Works great!
