Wedding Cake
My monstrosity. 4.5" square, 8" round, 10" square white cake filled and iced with chocolate buttercream. Will never use large icer tip for 'ribbon' agian. Bride forgot cake topper-and she didn't want the bow that was supposed to go on it, so the cake looks a little naked. NOT my favorite cake. Fondant wishes and buttercream budget...ugh.
I really like this...the white and brown are a good contrast and the cake really has a nice balance to it...great work!!!
Looks yummy! With all your trouble I think it turned out better than can be expected. Smooth icing and a clean white icing ... tough to do over chocolate buttercream. The bride gets what the bride wants - a naked cake!

Thank you! The cake did taste good (love those scraps) and the MOG (who paid for it) liked it. I just felt like my heart wasn't in it with all he BS the bride was putting me through. Live and learn, right? Thanks again for the compliment on the smooth icing :)
