5" square cake (3 layers), top carved to fit tealite. Covered with fondant and lusterdust, surrounded by wired beads. Placed on Partylite base for candles (cake was completed for a Partylite party). Complete inspiration from sweetsbyl.
Thanks for the comments! I used a partylite tealite (plastic surround) as it's more heat resitant. We only lit the candle for a short while whilst having a snack!
I love partylite. How did you keep the cake protected from the wax, as partylite candles melt into liquid and then harden again when cooled? What a fantastic idea!
