My sister and I made this cake for a friends cousin that got married over the weekend. It turned out better that I expected but not what I hoped for. We made the cake then had to travel 2 and 1/2 hours to the church....thank goodness the weather was not hot. We did not assemble until we reached the church but the layers shifted during the long, winding, hilly, curvy trip. The Bride loved it and that's all that mattered to me.
