50Th Anniversary
Ok this is my first BIG Anniversary cake. White Chocolate fondant bow and side bows, homemade white chocolate fondant pearls. PLEASE tell me what I can do different next time. I know it's not perfect but I tried hard!!! :) Thank you for looking and thank you for any comments you give :). Also I would like to thank many people.... LisaMS (I know my cake doesn't do yours any justice but thank you ) SarahNicole975 for all the pep talks!! And Leahs for turning me into a SPS junkie :)

It's beautiful! I love the colors. How did you get those colors? I think you did a great job. I don't know what to tell you about where the tiers meet. Honestly, it's a problem for me too. That's why I always have big shell borders! lol Good job!

:) Your cake is lovely. As for the extra space between the tiers, many of us who don't do fondant have that same problem, primarily because the larger tier does not have a perfectly level top. I'd suggest that before you put any sidework or borders on, fill in the space with icing (use a piping bag with a round tip), then smooth as best you can with a very small spatula. Once you add borders & sidework, no one's the wiser. But it's truly lovely! Applause!!!

I think its beautiful the only flaw I see is some spacing between the tiers. I had the same problem with my first (and only) tiered cake. I would love to know how to prevent this.
