I, too love the look. And I, too would like to know what tip you used. I love the second one most -- it sorta looks like a fancy pom-pon! The first has a Christmas tree look to it - just make that star yellow and voila!!!
That's just a rose tip. I kind of did the same motion you would to make a daisy. I then just kept building it up, it naturally got thicker/higher in the middle.
