Really cute poker cake!!!

How did you do the cards? Did you paint on it directly??

Well I used a chocolate mold to make the cards, but I used fondant to fill it. And yes I painted the stuff on the cards. After a month or two of making the cake, I had a brain storm. I should have taken real cards and made an edible image of them. Next time that is what I am going to do. I will take my fondant and cut it out the size of the cards, mist the fondant with water and put an edible image of the card on the fondant. Who knew it was that easy
