This is a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting covered in fondant. Unfortunately, the cake was cold when I covered it in fondant and therefore the fondant became very shiny and actually started to fall off the cake. This never made it to the birthday party although I was able to get a picture beofre all the fondant melted off. I am assuming that this happened b/c the cake had been in the fridge b/c this has never happened to me before!! I was so sad!
