Diego on Cake Central

10" and 6" stacked layers of french vanilla cake covered in butter cream. Diego and all other accents are made out of fondant.

I used a star cutter with fondant that I had rolled out a little thicker and insterted a wire in each one. I cut out little white circles and attached them with a little water. Then used black food coloring and a fine paint brush to paint on the details. Let them dry until pretty hard and placed them into a straw that I had placed in the cake!
