Why are there no names posted with the halloween cake contest pics? I was just checking the pics out and noticed that. I thought I would ask.

The username will no longer show underneath the image while the contest is running. Once the contest is over, the usernames will re-appear.

OK, thank. I think I recall seeing this a while back. But what if the same people posted their pics in the Halloween section. I think that defeats The purpose somewhat if you can just go to the Halloween section and see who made which cake.

True but when people label their pictures and have their names running across the photo, it sort of defeats the purpose too. Hhmn, nothing about contests is ever easy on this site, haha, is it?
I suppose if you limited the contests to pictures that didn't previously appear on site, then perhaps people wouldn't ever want to post their recent work.
Heehee, guess I am really thankful it isn't my dilemma to sort out! Because I think, that after awhile, with all of the controversy over every aspect of the contests including the topic - if I was the one supplying the site free of charge and the prizes too, I might want to re-think why I ever started having the contests to begin with, haha! But then, I am not as patient as Jackie, haha, God love her!

Heehee, I know Princeypoo, it was a perfectly innocent post. It just brought back some memories of previous discussions. Of course you have a right to comment, didn't mean to sound censoring, I was just thinking out loud. Haha, tend to avoid these discussions now. I am just at the point where I just enjoy looking at the pictures and marvel at the work that is done.
