I truly did two firsts in one cake. I have to thank missyek and boonenati for their wonderful tuorials. I would not have attempted it with out them. I present to you Cinderella's glass slipper on a pillow. All buttercream with fondant accents.

Awesome! It looks wonderful! How did you manage to create a slipper using buttercream..? Or is the slipper fondant?

The slipper is fondant with tylose powder added as I already had fondant made up and didn't want to have to wait for the gumpaste cure.

It's very beautiful, how do you calculate the number of servings?

It is an 8 inch square on the bottom and I carved a 10 inch square for the pillow. When I figured the servings I figured it as two 8 inch squares because I had no clue how much I would actually cut off. My guess was it would serve about 40 party servings.

That is beautiful!!! You did such a great job doing the pillow in BC. I really love it when you can use BC instead of fondant.
