I absolutely LOVE this site. I have been a member for a few months now, and i have utilized MANY of the tutorials, tips, etc. Everyone around me kept telling me i should start a business, but i was somewhat dragging my feet about it. Well my church is hosting a women's expo in march and everyone encouraged me to use this as my start, so I have a booth. I'm somewhat scared and excited at the same time, but I know that without a doubt I could not do it without this site and all the wonderful people who use it!!!! This week i'm going to be busy trying out many of the recipes, and allowing my co workers to try those out, so i know they will love that!
But a great big thank you to everyone who uses this site. Just using the gallery to get inspiration, and of course the tutorials are excellent. I made my daughter a pillow cake at it was Huge success. Thanks again.
Welcome to the site and enjoy. I love it here. It's basically the only place on line that I visit now. Used to go to i-Village a lot (was part of an expecting board and then a 'play group' after the babies were born). It was great most of the time, but every so often there was some drama and it rippled through the board and since it was mostly about our lives - I realized it was too personal. Here, it's about us, what we do, how we do it, etc.
The pros here are so great at teaching us novices. It's a wonderful place to learn. Enjoy!

I am so stinking addicted to this site! It's only been about a month for me, but has quickly become my favorite. Everyone is very helpful, I've also experienced the drama of mommy and expecting boards and am relieved to not see a whole lot of that here! Side note: Sugar Plum Fairy - we share a birthday!

There are some icredible talents on this site. I am amazed on a daily basis by what I see... and I love trying to recreate some of it. Not always successfully, but it's always an adventure!! Welcome, and we can't wait to see your amazing work!
NatalieJ75, that's so cool. All these years and I only know of two other people (now three!) who share their birthday. One was the guy who worked at H&R Block whom did my taxes, and the other is a soap opera actor, Tristan Rogers aka Robert Scorpio from General Hospital.

This site is addicting! I've join CC a year ago but have'nt really posted much. Being a full time baker restrict me from CC more often,but i try to sneak once in a while to keep posted and to see who's online.OMG! wish i could sit down for one straight hour!
I agree with all of the above! This site is very addictive, very welcoming and the best way ever to meet new friends! (quick, I need a kleenex!!)
