i've been out of cakes for a few years and i am starting up again.  many of the sights i used to use seem to be gone. where do you buy your cake supples, fondant and tools

I have done business with BAKEDECO for many years... just because their warehouse is in NY and I'm in NJ. But if you search online, there are many other reliable providers. 

From what I read most people seem to use Amazon.   I don’t buy online.   Oh another one is Shine

It really depends on where you live. There are people worldwide on CC. I’m in Canada, so my recommendations wouldn’t work for you. The best thing you can do is google. I’m sure a plethora of online decorating sites will pop up. If you’re in the USA, which I’m assuming you are, you are fortunate that you can access online retailers all across the USA. Of course, shipping is the bugaboo. The farther away, the more expensive it will be.
