'tal -- i agree about the chocolate thing -- that's a reasonable request in my book -- a milk chocolate or lighter even -- sure if they're paying i'm in!!

but i didn't let anyone make me their personal pastry chef where i baked and they sampled and critiqued where they liked this and didn't like that -- uh ugh --

but i'm excited about your cake and cuppies -- i can almost smell it from here blush

I like it -- but are you fast?

what kinda decor on the cake?

Hello k8....Question for you...would you recommend baking the cuppies using the 48 pan or would that bake unevenly?  Should I stick to 12 cup pans to be safe?

Not K8 here but.......

I guess it depends on the oven.

Is there a difference in the size of the cupcake using the bigger pan?

if your oven has heat flow around the 48 pan i'd sure go for it -- you could test it somewhat by baking a half dozen or a dozen -- put a few in the middle then a few around the edges and it will sort of be like baking off the whole pan -- or just be sure you have enough ingredients to make a little more batter than you'll need if necessary and just go for a the full 48 -- being prepared to toss a couple that might get over or under baked -- take the risk blush
