Hello. I am curious how those of you who exclusively use Meringue buttercreams, how do you disclose this information to your customers? I know a few people close to me with egg allergies so I'm wondering how from a business aspect, if I were to choose to mostly use Meringue buttercreams, whats the best way to let my customers know that it contains eggs.

Thanks in advance!

From a person w/ many food allergies I always felt it was my responsibility to ask the use of anything I couldn’t have Until very recently I never would have thought about the use of eggs in frosting. But when you know there is something that a client can’t have I think you should definitely speak up! Maybe you can use another recipe in those cases There are many different choices— find one you & the customer can accept

Like kakeladi said, I would think anyone have a sensitivity to any foods would be specific when ordering a cake.  You can always make a point of asking if anyone who will be eating the cake has any allergies.
