Hey all,

So i'm going to be coloring my wafer paper tomorrow to make a light minty green. I don't have the exact petal dust color.

Is it possible to mix dusts to create another color? If so, any recommendations of what colors I should be mixing?

Thanks so much!! xox

Sue one can mix and match to your hearts contend :)  Do you have any white dust?  Use the lightest shade of green you have and add white.

Ditto what kakeladi said.  If you do not have white petal dust, you can mix your green with cornstarch, if a lighter color is required.  I've had no success coloring wafer paper with petal dusts.  I guess I just don't know how.  The only way I have been able to successfully color it is with an airbrush.

a fabulous tool is a color wheel.  You can get one cheap in a craft store and they are very helpful.

This is a good tutorial on colouring wafer paper. This video shows metallic colour, but colour gel works too.
