I AM NEW TO THE BAKING BUSINESS AND I WAS WONDERING IF I NEEDED SOME TYPE OF LICENSE SAYING I COOK IN A HOME KITCHEN. I AM AWARE OF THE COTTAGE FOOD LAWS BUT I DO NOT KNOW IF I NEED A LEGAL OPERATOR LICENSE OF SOME SORT?

You need to check with you state/county/city health department or agriculture dept. Most states now require it. Sometimes the city &/or county does but the state doesn't or the other way around so you need to check all sections.
And as a "BTY" notice typing in all caps show that one is screaming.
